yes totally dont have a population Mean while almost ever plot is already taken and the ones that arent, they arent allowing people to get into yet
tell us you dont go look at other servers plots without telling us you dont go and look at other servers plots.
Seraph is the one server that has some people on it but compared to others in prime time it still is a ghost town.
DC travel didn’t yet exist then. It was added in 6.18. I remember because we actually had raid prog for Asphodelos and parties for Ultima Unreal in Crystal.
4 more worlds for NA meanwhile SA and SEA players don't get proper servers :/ less talk about regional pricing or official localization which is pretty needed
People dont like being forced off their datacenter though. Look at the first time this happened, many people moved back to Aether. Others didnt want to leave friends and fc so they were forced to stay. Probably why this time they opted to not do it. Its not fair to force people to be a foundation for a new datacenter unwilling.
honestly the whole reason they are doing this is so that when DT launches, people can DC travel to these worlds to make ques for logging in shorter.
And if you're worried about content ques on Dynamis at DT launch, if enough people are actually doing it, it wont be an issue. OR just make sure you have your friends all go together and have a full party. That way you don't have to worry at all.
I did see on Maduin that Limsa plaza was filling up. Not saying it's bustling, and the queues still suck, but I can see the servers are slowly getting populated. It just takes forever for a new foundation of players to stick around. Lets hope a fully developed Dynamis will attract more new players, and not just alts.
Eh... it might help with initial congestion from the expansion, but it'll probably drop off and they all become ghost towns a couple of months later like the other Dynamis servers did because there's no real incentive to stay. Hell, would it even be appealing for people on congested worlds to perm-transfer over? Even for a house? They're likely to get frustrated with the lack of queues while they sit in their home for literally hours (not to mention the possible lack of furnishing options on a brand new market board) and then being forced to DC travel anyway (and therefore can't be in their house). Most will probably end up paying to go back to their original server (many such cases already on Dynamis) because having a house won't feel like a good trade-off for everything else they lose.
