Seasons are based on hemisphere.Every Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring has a different time frame is in different Countries.. Maybe in Japan Summer starts in August and ends in Sept/October... I live in the USA so its natural to think Summer is June 22/23st-Sept 22nd... but else it may not be that exact time frame.
For everyone in the northern hemisphere, the last day of summer is Sept. 21.
Yep. Still June - September. So 'all summer long' essentially means:
"Gamescom and every week after (since they stated in an interview they're going to post updates on a weekly basis regarding 2.0)" so the 'all summer' if taken literally will only lead to disappointment.
True that is correct on a "Literal" stance point of view. However, taking the term of Summer for Instance and translate it into what a Country/Company thinks is summer is another thing all together, which was what I was referring to. Like in Tropical places You can call it Winter there but it feels like its Summer. Some places only have 2 season Summer and Winter.
I think the term " All Summer long" was used in a Company sense ( SE being the company) and they "Feel" like Summer is in mid July~ Early August. But I do agree using the term " All Summer long" when dealing with a Wide range of people spread out a crossed the world is a little improper. Should have said we will be giving out information starting on X Week or X Date.

I hate the fact that they are not releasing much information, but I believe most of it is due to the fact that they are not trying to spoil the ending of 1.0 for us. I hope once patch 1.23 hits that we will get a lot more information coming our way.

I think that it's fair to say that 'system side update' probably won't take up much of patch 1.23 ... or battle reforms, and all that other stuff we've seen before. We're so close to the end now that it would be kind of fruitless... So if it's mostly all content, and they don't want to spoil the surprise, then i can see it's possible there's nothing they can really tell us prior to the patch ... but SOMETHING would be really SOMETHING ... Q#*(^Q#$*^)()(Q#$ ...
<_>
I expect at least some kind of GC article or maybe Producer Letter overview to arrive this friday or monday.

Make it happen.

Also, people forget this "all summer long" as been said mid-july, not so much ago
Not exactly in E3 interviews it was said that information would be flooded in soon after E3 concluded and if we go by those standards then technically 1.23 will be released soon after E3 lol. If you think of the time frame like that then it does make sense why people would be a little confused by lack of information, had they just simply said end of july/early august people wouldn't spend every week checking the front page/new site for informaiton that they said would come in a bulk rather than in trickles. It's just odd because from the sound of things it's like they were going to release all the information before the trailer came out but as this look now it seems they are going to release the information with the trailer that was suppose to be released at E3 lol.
Of course though tomorrow we could see some new info since this whole week has oddly been quiet but if anything I do hope that next week will be the patch since we are closing in the end of July soon.

Good thing 1.23 is due soon because it will definately make the wait for Gamescon much more bearable. Before you know it we will be deep into alpha/ beta, benchmark, 2.0 territory. I love and hate this waiting at the same time lol.

Maybe they're using a calendar from the Antarctic or Arctic so the Summer won't happen! lol
