Dawntrail Benchmark only runs with Default WoL, crashes with new/imported Character

Benchmark loads fine if I just hit start without entering Character Creation.

However if i load a character, or even build a new one, once I'm done and hit 'confirm', the program freezes and crashes. I've tried this with saved data, new characters, all different races etc. It just won't work. Exact same place each time.

I've tried absolutely everything I could find on Reddit and the forums about fixing it. Nothing works. Unless I load with the default WoL, Benchmark just won't run. I'm so upset. I just wanna see my characters in the new graphics.

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

If the benchmark is able to run without using existing character data there may issues with regards to the character data. Please try the following:

- Run the benchmark as an admin
- If you are using the Windows OS, please note their cloud service 'OneDrive' may be running in the background. This program will try to sync up various files on your system and can cause communication issues. Please check and try disabling this program when attempting to run the benchmark.
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable).
- Please try lowering the resolution.
- Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup.
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
