For the Easter event we got the new rewards plus access to last year's egg hats by completing just a few extra steps. Why not do the same for this event and the swimsuits?

Yeah it shouldn't be anything that will take time away from them working on 2.0 >_< I don't know how this server works..but I was a GM in L2 and RO and it was very simple to create items or create a NPC to allow people to buy items from >.> If I can do that anyone can lol.

Will swimsuits be available during 2013's summer event?

I would like to see some real swim suits for the guys. Not skin tight shorts and chest straps. Give us swimming trunks that go to or below the knees and some sunglasses or something if they are available during 2013.

I think the main reason folks are disappointed is because without the swimsuit choices, we are stuck with a single choice of Blah Grey Underclothes with no upcoming options in sight at any point.

I have no heard from any source thus far if the Yukata are used in the underclothes slots or not. And i think thats where alot of the disappointment comes from.

If its a chest/foot slot item its neat. and might be cool looking...but its likely headed for the retainer or armoire sooner or later. Where the swimsuits you can put on and use at all times.

So if i can make a request of the Devs/community reps. Can you confirm what Gear slots the new summer event items will use? and if its not too late, can we request they use the underclothers/underwear slots?

It won't be in the underwear slot. It was said in the GC underwear thread that no underwear is planned for the next patch however he did pass the idea of GC undies along.
