I just wish I had some sort of upper body underwear better suited for roleplaying purposes (how are you going to RP taking a swim or sunbathing in a camise? I hate that darn thing)... as pretty as the gear for this year is, it just doesn't fit the role. I'd do anything to get rid of the yucky Lala male underwear and replace it with a top with less coverage and pants without that horrible dark patch that makes it look like you've soiled yourself...

So whilst I'm looking forward to this year's gear, I'm rather disappointed for not getting last years (which I missed because I didn't even know XIV existed back then, as impossible as that sounds, especially from a Final Fantasy fan like myself... otherwise I'd have started playing far earlier than I actually did).

Rannie you bring up a good point...hopefully somewhere down the road they will let us synth swimsuits or release different kind. Even some better looking underwear would suffice lol. Till then I'll keep glaring with envy at those that have them haha

That's the whole point I've been saying the two posts I've put up back when people first starting going in a knock down drag out over it until a few pages ago. I hope for the people who didn't get them they will do it but see as right now they've said no the bickering and fighting over it is pointless and makes no sense at all. I'm not against people getting them at all. I just know they said they weren't going to be in this year but that doesn't mean there isn't a next time or another way.

The amount of time and cost it would take to implement swim suits would be trivial and almost non existent. And judging by the density of your post I'd imagine it would take less energy then the brain power you used to type that post since all it would be is adding a few item serial numbers.

It's not an excuse and neither is "Because they said so, a year ago when this game was in horrible shape, pre 2.0 PDFs, pre server mergers where a lot of people got forced to reroll their characters, pre adding in a subscription before 2.0 is even launched." Just because a bad promise was made doesn't mean they can't change it for the better like they are other things. Waiting 1 year is enough, 2 years is to long a wait especially in a game in the state xxiv is in and the amount of faith they are asking for from their fans.

In regards to all of the demands for the Development Team to release last year’s swimwear, as was mentioned previously, these seasonal event items are given to players to act as proof that they participated and we are not planning to simply distribute them. We will look into how we can distribute these items in the future once an appropriate amount of time passes.
