Female Miqo'te face 4 feedback [updated benchmark]

Please bring back the fuller lips, more defined cupid's bow and most importantly the lip gap for mouth type 2!! It was such a cute unique little detail that set it apart from all the other options and other miqo'te face and mouth options in general.


In the updated state the type 2 lips don't appear as round and full as before and the inner part of the lips appears more sunken in as seen from the side profile.

The upper lip feels unnecessarily bigger/longer now just to close the gap, like they considered it an issue. It was such a cute defining charm point of those lips and this face in general, but the devs really decided instead of adding more options to the existing ones, they are going to change everything.

The lip gap gave a bit of extra character to the face was the reason I chose lip-2 ten yrs ago. The updated lip is nice but it would be great to have what my character had my whole play time.

I'm sad 'cause I often have a little lip gap like this when at rest in real life (thanks buck teeth) and i'm really gonna miss that little touch when/if I ever fantasia dip back to my mooncat

Pushing them together really changes the posture of the mouth and expression of the face as a whole to look a lot more tight and less relaxed when idling

I too really want my lip gap back. She's just not the same character without it. The corners of her eyes and the shape of her nose in profile are still also incorrect but this lip gap is the only thing I truly feel like I can't get over.



The Viper artwork has one, but they removed it from all the faces that had one! So consider this a +1. Since this thread is only about the lip gap, I wish you'd made the title specifically about it. More people might have come in that way.

Also the lip gap isn't only on mouth 2. All face 4 mouths have it. Mine is mouth 1 for example.

So i'm not the only one who noticed...

Yeah it makes me quite sad. My character was made when a realm reborn came out over ten years ago. And i specifically selected this Type 2 for the gap. Since then, Lanelle went through countless adventures and i don't even know how many screenshots i took over the last decade.
This detail was important to me. To many others too apparently.

It would be nice if the devs changed their mind and left Type 2 the way it always was.

EDIT: Hey early access and graphics update are here and my Lanelle's lip gap is still there... guess my char didn't change too much :> i'm happy. Lip gap is still there and possibly here to stay, all is well.
