I'm still seeing the same issues I had before with the old benchmark. Low resolution textures, missing racial or facial fdeatures, shape of a few facial features changed.

Generally, I like the changes, but F Viera Face 4 got the same treatment as F Au Ra face 4 did and the more angular nature of the face was rounded enough to change them quite a bit.
Here is a side by side comparison, the first in the line is current EW - the subsequent ones are from the DT Bench. And in many of the shots she now looks childish, especially with the Grid and Ul'dah back drops and that is a little disappointing since there are other options for a 'younger' look
I also tried to get a visual of the rounding of the face. The DT face is showing as the transparent and you can see some rounding on the top part of the face.

Is it me, or Veena eyes colours pop more ? (In a good way imo).Hey there !
Thank you for the Benchmark changes.
Unfortunately, it seems that there are still existing issues in the design of viera face 3, especially concerning the lips. Something is wrong, my viera who had a cute smile before is kinda sulking now. Bottom lips need to be softer or something. I tried many colors but I didn't find any solution.
I am very disappointed and I consider using a filter...
BEFORE - 6.58
AFTER - BENCHMARK
ZOOM
But the lips…. Yeah, that’s not ok unfortunately. The lighting give me a kind of “bad lip contouring” feeling.
As for the the cute smile gone away, that’s a shame. I remember Clover reporting the same issue on her Viera .
Lip shape are an important part of the face, like the eyes. SE did great with the update and new benchmark saves eyes for most of the players but I’m reading a ton of concern for the lips by A LOT of the community.
I’m adding my voice to SE to improve this !

Everything i had issue with in the previous one got fixed! <3
I'm happy with the updated version

I am for the most part happy with the changes to my character in the new benchmark. He looks much more like himself again.
Observed changes:
- Soul has been returned to eyes
- Lower eyelashes no longer disappear when in shadow
- Redone texture of the face, weird chin/drawn on shadows on cheeks are gone
- Nose has been cleaned, perhaps a bit too clean but this is WAY preferable to the old benchmark, much better and closer to original
- Lips are better, not perfect like on live, but better
New issue/bug?
Eyelash extensions appear to clip strangely?
Old benchmark as example, similar to on live, the white lashes are full length
New benchmark, strange clipping/border. Lashes look a little bent.

I really hope they don't go back on the nose cleaning aspect. If nothing else, it should be an option in the facial features for those who like it. The nose is looking so much better now, way closer to what my character looks like currently.
And I'll be honest I wasn't bothered by the changes, but after the new benchmark I can't even imagine going back to its first version, it's superior in every way.

My biggest problems with my many bnuuy currently are how very muted (almost invisible, even on pale faces) the rabbit nose is on male Viera faces compared to live and the changes to lip shape across the board. I'll bite the bullet and get cc data for both live and the 1.1bench for examples on all of them once I'm less busy (I have... so many Viera.....), but they're both visible on every comparison between live and current benchmark I remember.

Tbh I do prefer new lips, at least on face 3 for guys. The shape seems to be generally the same for that one from what I observed, with most changes coming from new rendering and shading to give it more volume. The harsh shadow on the upper lip in Live version makes it look like they're different, but upon closer look they're honestly looking fairly identical in general outline. I'd need to fetch my tablet to draw over it and compare, though. (That's for face 3 only though, I didn't closely go over other faces for male Viera, and female Viera have more apparent differences where new rendering and shading doesn't really explain those)My biggest problems with my many bnuuy currently are how very muted (almost invisible, even on pale faces) the rabbit nose is on male Viera faces compared to live and the changes to lip shape across the board. The shading on the nose, on the other hand... Where's the bunny, SE. Where's the bunny?

Face 3 Lip 3 at least is noticeably different and it's not just shadow. unredlined, as a base; the redlined comparison is below (don't use for color comparison, I forgot to fuck with the benchmark gamma); the alignment is slightly off, i think, but it's not so far off that the lip shape should be changed as drastically as it is. If it was the only thing that got skipped in editing over it would be acceptable, to be clear, since his resting severe depression face hasn't been impacted, but it looks slightly... thinner isn't the word, scrunched? in a way I'm not a fan of. It's clearest in the cupid's bow, the peaks are higher and the dip is lower which when combined with how the lip color has been drawn in makes his mouth seem slightly smaller in comparison even though looking at the actual corners it clearly isn't. Even at my most generous, it's a narrower shape (the lower lip is less offensive, since it seems to be an issue of the texture being less blended).Tbh I do prefer new lips, at least on face 3 for guys. Also looking at this I'm being reminded of how much I hate how thinned out the thick eyelashes option has been made... but yeah, it's part of broader changes in how the lips are being drawn and is part of a stylistic shift I do not enjoy even if, standalone, it would be tolerable.
Not my best work, my hands kept spasming at bad times, but you can see the what i'm talking about a bit better re: lips. It's minor compared to a lot, it's just... symptom of a broader problem I've seen a lot elsewhere.
