i also play veena, i got the impression that the pupil is a little bigger then before, micro difference, but im not sure, it can be only the light/shadows
edit: i just saw a few people saying that they did not fix the veena pupil, idk, i though it was fine

I'm frustrated the nose smudge on male viera face 1 is still brown. My boy has charcoal colored skin, so the brown just makes it look... like he has allergies or something. In the regular game, it's more of a black smudge which goes with all skin colors. I don't know if this is intended or not, but I don't like the color change.
Given the various unrealistic and realistic skin tones and shades that characters in the game can come in I hope all are and continue to be equally accommodated when it comes to the lighting and shading! Overall happy with the update.![]()

So I need help deciding after seeing the lipchanges stayed. Should I go with the massive lips and a bit larger chin to balance it out or should I stay with the smaller lips? I think Im switching eyecolours to this purple (used to be blue)

My Rava - face1 changed pretty significantly. From the alluring smirk to the tired "b**ch" face - yes, her expression is now more like Aura than Viera.
It is caused by the slighty changed lip shape, also eyebrows changed shape and looks a little more thick, and at the same time less expressive.
This is caused by the "Facial" features -Thick eyebrows option which changes the eyebrow shape in bench 1.1 but in live version, it retains eyebrow shape and only makes it slightly thicker.
But my biggest complain is... black hair color still looks hoary and gray, as in char creator so in benchmark cinematics. This was obviously not fixed from original benchmark.
Again this problem affect only my Viera character, on Highlander and Miqo the black color is more or less the same as in live version, which is really strange, like they forgot to update hair highlights for viera hairstyles but is fine for other races i tested.

I'm more or less satisfied with how my character looks both compared to the current graphics and the first benchmark, but one thing that still bugs me is that the male viera face 1 eye 'tattoo' is still slightly less opaque than it use to be. I don't have the best comparison screenshot because I'm not currently subbed while taking a break for a few weeks, so this is the best I can do:
It also seems to be slightly more downturned than before, but that's not really the problem. It isn't the end of the world, but it's sort of a key feature for why I picked that face in the first place, so I'd like to keep it.
Imo, the second screen is closer in appearance to your actual Viera. By the way, purple is a lovely chose for the eye colour.
I wish I could check mine, but console player on Mac here… no benchmark possible!
so I will have to struggle with massive queues on release date to adapt my character on the new graphics. (Glad they updated the fantasia phials)
