The colours are wrong, umbral lings only have a similar colour when its at night, never during the day.

The pupils are WAY too big.

My mouth has less of a smile as the corners of the mouth are no longer upturned : d

Tbh the mood of my character that I loved is completely ruined now. I thought they wont change the faces this much and it feels link a punch to the teeth every time I look at my character now. I don't even know anymore...

Looking at my lizard in game I have to agree I feel like they reverted some of the changes from benchmark 2 tbh. She's back to very dead looking eyes in most lighting and the lip changes on her non-emoting face are just SO pursed. It feels like some sort of 2010s era janky beauty filter was applied over my face 2 girl. I can't even fix the eye issue with limbal rings because in daylight the added color works but in shadow/night it looks like she has rgb gamer eyes and that's just not what I'd like.

I tried to gpose her a bit figuring I would get used to it but... she has too much of that soulless doll look from benchmark 1 which is just bumming me out.

Edit: looking at some other threads, honestly the biggest issue is the change of the mouth. If the mouth was stretched a bit wider and had a less harsh lipstick line then the eyes wouldn't matter as much for me.

Mine is a legitimate downgrade . Small beady eyes and off coloured lips. Smile is cursed and teeth horrible

The geometry on the hime cut is a bit weird. It used to sit flat on the head but now there's a situation going on up top.

While I don't have a before and after shots of mine, I can say that I'm utterly unhappy with the update to AuRa face 1.

Back to report that face 4 still looks horrible and it's not something I can just fix with a fantasia.
Setting aside my issues with the model for a minute, though, I'd like to go back to the issue with eyes:

Under certain lighting (dim, night, etc.) the eyes not only look entirely black, but also completely lack catchlights, which continues to give that "soulless" look they supposedly fixed.
My character's eyes aren't even that dark, but they look much darker at night except for the absolute flashlights that are her limbal rings.

Fem Au Ra Face 4 is ruined. A completely different expression than pre DT.




Before serious and cool, now she looks like a doll.
