I liked the previous benchmark more :(

I know I probably have a super unpopular opinion, but my character looked absolutely fantastic in the previous benchmark, and now she looks weird

This is her in Dawntrail benchmark 1.0:

look at her eyes, she had mad mascara (or whatever the makeup around the eyes is called, which got heavily reduced , and the lightning makes it look like she put makeup on 1 eye and forgot the other, her hair no longer casts shadow on her face (which looks really weird), shadows on the barrels behind her are reduced, people complained we had dead eyes, but now they look glazed over (and it looks like one of my eyes is lighter then the other, which, its not...

I really hope we get the option to use either the new or the old benchmark characters, cause I'm really not a fan of these changes

I agree.

I'm happy for everyone who likes the new change without the makeup but I miss it.
Really hope the devs put it in as an option for us in the character editor.

That said, I'm happy with the other changes and have to say good job on that.

Try lowering gamma in the graphics settings to 0; see if that brings some of the darker color back. Probably not, but worth testing.

Sadly no but it helped a bit with the overly bright lightning in my eyes, so thanks.

My character looked fine in 1.0 Benchmark, looks fine now, and this discussion broke me last time so I'm not even gonna bother anymore.

that's completely fair, I'll still love my char either way, and it's not like I'm gonna stop playing because of this, but, I'll forever be disappointed knowing what could've been (if we went straight from current to benchmark 1.1 I probably would've been happy, but having seen benchmark 1.0, I can't help, but feel like 1.1 is (to me) a downgrade

I liked facial shadows more in 1.0 but for some reason they cut back on them.
