If people "get used" to their character's appearance in 7.0, that's just like people having "gotten used" to their characters from 6.58-- ultimately, if the developers decide something can and should be improved, tweaked, or changed, it will be. All you can do in that case is provide feedback.
This is not going to happen, otherwise people would have to fantasia after every little tweak.
