Tbh I’ve been checking the images a lot as well, keep wondering if face 4 femra’s lower-lip-shading-turned-lip-injection was changed (at this point I personally don’t really mind the new enlarged lips, but there are people who do for good reasons, and I loved old lips more than I’m okay with the new ones, so it’s worth looking out for xD)
Having options would really solve a lot of disagreements

I've been looking a lot at ppl with updated face 4 femras as well, and to me it looks like they indeed did try to make them more similar to current, so I'm feeling pretty hopeful that my lizard will look more like herself than she did in the benchmark.

That being said, it would be nice if the benchmark versions were available as additional options for people who did like them. Same goes to the change they made to Au Ra pupil sizes since I know people are divisive on the change as well.

Yeah, even if it’s not a full CC rework (that might be even harder to do than the graphics update lol), just having more options using the same interface as the current ones would be cool (more combinations too!)

Took me a hot minute to find this post again but this user has the updated model, and if you go to the original post and look at their icon, the mouth looks much more similar to the current one instead of the benchmark one. It's a little surprising they didn't mention further changes based off of user feedback in the 7.0 patch notes.

Its because then you would have people thinking x race is getting preferential treatment and you would have people being like "WELL WHAT ABOUT MY HYUR! or MY ELEZEN!" either way...happy for you guys. I like type 4 au ra and their lips did look kinda messed up....now to see what face 4 players will complain about next!(jk but I know there will still be more complaining) because lips was for sure the biggest complaint I seen from them and it was pretty much all over the JP thread.
Tbh...I only defended the changes but the only thing I ACTUALLY want changed is to make the philtrum less prominent. It looks ugly.

If anybody is interested, one of my alts has been updated (it's really random, because many others haven't been) and that's what she looks like.

She is face 4 but I don't remember her exact settings anymore.

I'm not sure if the mouth has been changed after 1.1 in her case. It still seems to have this round "lip filler" look to me, esp. the lower lip? It's a bit hard to tell given the quality.

Either way, I hope it can provide a first glance for those interested.

You are right, there is quite a difference, I took the liberty of making a really quick comparison. Considering the OG poster was upset about the lips I hope they feel a lot better about it now, the lip shape appears much closer to the original.



It will be very interesting to see how things turn out with Early Access tomorrow in terms of what else has changed since 2nd benchmark.

As the poster of the old "graphics update isn't ready, please make it optional" thread I think it's important to understand that while we might be unhappy about changes, we are not unreasonable. I was mostly satisfied with my character (m!Viera face 3) after the benchmark was updated, so naturally I stopped complaining. It is really that simple, if your feedback is heard and addressed, you will be happy with it. I hope more people will be pleasantly surprised when they log in tomorrow.
