Odstarva, last week I asked you what you liked about the update and I showed you that it did not contradict the large majority of the requests people were giving in this thread and elsewhere (I won't go so far as to say "the entirety" because I can't guarantee that).

Unless you somehow forgot an extremely specific detail that you care about a lot when you first replied to my questions, I think there's nothing for you to worry about.

The monument to hypocrisy and irony that is this whole thread. "We're only advocating for our own characters" while forgetting "their" characters are shared with every player in the world. I know it's easy to forget, but your face and hair combo really isn't that unique. Thousands of other players are using it, and your 'fixes' are being forced on everyone else's characters, but nevermind that. "Fuck you got mine" mentality. As I've said before, I'd much rather they let you guys live in the past with extra choices, than forcing the old models on everyone else.

Us having our characters that we've known and loved for years changed, is not equivalent to tweaks that you like that have existed for a month getting changed. Hope this helps.

Check your actual lodestone profile. The updated version of your character picture is larger than the old one.

640x873 = Old and busted

880x1200 = New hotness

They didn't do a complete roll out huh? mine's still 640x873.

Neither has mine, seems like it's going out in waves. Also, since my last post I realized you can do the same thing with the forum avatars. Right click and open the image in a new tab. The updated versions are much larger than the old ones.

Well your answer sounded a lot like "fuck you got mine" too. I'm glad you're happy with the changes tho, but you'd gain a lot to have empathy toward those who don't.

I'm moderately interested to see if my eyebrows make it or if they get erased in the update. Also hoping that they don't change my lip shape. I've saved my old profile picture and when the update hits I'll post both images for science. Kind of past the point of caring tbh because I already popped my fantasia knowing that my main will not look the same. For some reason my alts came out looking almost perfect lol.

Yes. I guess, they use one normal map for faces and then they try to reuse it for all faces. And sometimes ii does not work properly.
