I'm going to point out with the woven cloth that the dark seam is much further in on the light cloth to the right, and if a change that drastic had happened to our WoL faces, you'd be raising the rafters over it.
It can be a little confusing because the slider is the same picture. Here is a more visual comparison.
yea
yes
I'll make it easier for you, all my messages are about dissatisfaction with this update, so I'm already doing it.
And yes, they have already done that, they have so significantly changed, for example, my lips.
I'm not really asking you if they're similar or not, in your opinion. The other day, I just asked for the most innocent and independent view from the outside. A little boy. To which he replied to me. Auntie, here she is joyful and smiling, and here she is sad and not smiling. And even ignoring the fact that they have a completely different shape.
For me, this is the surest indicator that something is wrong. And I just ignore preconceived opinions like thatnow.

Very aware. Which is why I thought it strange that you described something that is different in such glowing terms, while describing something else that is different with such dissatisfaction.
No statement about your dissatisfaction--THAT I understand. It was the glowing description of something else which was clearly different that made me scratch my head.

The fun part is that we can also be very dissatisfied with the change to the shape of our characters faces and be excited for and appreciate the other changes. It isn't mutually exclusive.Very aware. This is because the Environment team members are gurus and the character team is... questionable (they've always been the weakest link of XIV).
I'm actually concerned about that super-woven cloth texture; it looks primed for creating horrible moire patterns at any kind of distance – and indeed even right there in the screenshot.
I feel like the "HD" gear has had trouble for a while with textures being too fine and just turning into a pixelly mess. The Monstrorum weapons and embroidery on the Cryptlurker DPS coats are particular problem items that come to mind. I think also that first new PVP series reward with the black-and-red armour.

That's absolutely not an issue at modern render resolutions above 1080p. There comes a point where the game just needs to stop catering to 15 year old hardware.
So true!
That's why Yoshi-P has raised such concerns over hardware requirements, and catering to the widest-range of people so that as many people as possible can play... this massively multiplayer online game
Should only cater to the last 2 years MAX before you need to buy a new system. Just like your phone!
P.S: Even 4k is still susceptible to moire
