The comments in that thread are one guy suggesting you use the official forums for your feedback, one guy suggesting you add more detailed information about what you feel is wrong, and everyone else calmly saying they don't see much of a difference which isn't any different than what a lot of people have been telling you here. To call all those people "cultists" just because they didn't all agree with you is pretty ridiculous.

I hope I can do it right, since I don't have any drawing skills, and it takes a very long time to circle each pixel, which I do, hehe. And I hope the developers will take this feedback into account if I manage to do everything right.

You are entitled to have whatever opinion you want about your character. My point was that you shouldn't make rude comments about an entire group of people just because they don't agree with your opinion.

I can't see your posts there because they were deleted but judging by your behavior here I would have to assume you had a meltdown about people not agreeing with you and you said some things unsavory enough to warrant a ban. If people were getting banned from the sub just for disagreeing with each other there wouldn't be anyone left.

Overall I'm satisfied with the graphical updates for au ra. My only complaint is that they made the root color so dark for Dawntrail. It is very off-putting to see black roots for my white/grey hair and I'm surprised I haven't seen other people complain as much about it. It looks okay with other colors, especially darker hair colors, but I really hate how it looks with my hair and it is so obvious during the scenes in the benchmark Not all my glams have hats either so I'll be stuck looking at it unless it gets changed.

This doesn't look like it's part of the texture, that looks like a weird shadow from either the new lighting system or the new ambient occlusion options. Have you checked with AO entirely disabled if it remains?

I just tried and it is still looks the exact same unfortunately

Looks like a messed up normal map. Normal maps are usually used to fake depth and fine structures. But if you do it wrong then the results look very strange.

I also humbly request for YoshiP to stop gaslighting the players by suggesting that we can "fine tune" changes we're not satisfied with in the character creator.

Seconding this. The character creator completely lacks the sort of fine-tuning that would be required to get our characters looking as they were.

Reposting here in the big thread, its the same as what I said in the Viera specific feedback.

Right: Live game (6.58), Left: Dawntrail Benchmark 1.1

The overall facial structure of my Viera face 2 bunny has changed in ways that kind of make me go like, "You're you, but you're also NOT you..."
I think the biggest issue for me right now is the shape of the mouth has been completely compressed into a line, so his expression is just :| :| :|
His mouth used to have more shape, including a soft, noticeable "M" in the lower part of the upper lip. I really miss it, it throws off the face for me.
They also, for some reason, shaved his entire jawline and chin so now he lost his squishiness. Sigh.
