When are these going to open up? FC wards 1-9 about 98% full.

That is impossible. A FC can only own one house.

Each of those houses is owned by a unique FC (and in most cases those FCs in the same ward using the same FC tag can probably be traced to a single player).

Keep in mind that the only reason those individual players are able to obtain all those FC houses is because no other FCs were trying to buy them. They were essentially "free for the taking".

Now that most of the Xbox players have moved to paid accounts and so have the opportunity to be eligible to purchase housing plus all the players returning for Dawntrail, I expect the locked Dynamis wards to be unlocked before the end of the year. We'll have to see how they choose to divide them between FC, individual, and mixed.

Finally opening the second set of Dynamis worlds instead of opening the last 6 wards is something I did not expect. Sounds like Dawntrail pre-orders have been meeting/exceeding their expectations.

100% agree the 4 more Dynamis worlds really came out of left field here so I got to wonder what metrics SE is seeing and that bodes well for things given that SE is well aware of the housing issue (given the release was more info about the housing then anything else lol) Also is there no hybrid housing there?

It's interesting that they are only opening servers 1 to 24 on these new worlds as well. In addition the FC wards won't have FC's to buy them for at least 30 days for wards 1 - 9.

Yeah odd that the last 6 wards on all of Dynamis (the original 4 plus the new 4) are still going to be locked! I wonder what the reasoning is for saving them at this point…

None. It's wards 1-9 for FCs and 10-24 for personal. Wards 25-30 remain unavailable.

Probably to get any new transfers to populate the new worlds instead of going to the existing ones.

Unless they change the 4 existing worlds to Preferred when they add the new worlds, that's going to cause some grumbling by current Dynamis players who would have to pay for New world to New world transfers in order to get a chance at an upgrade.

Last day of 2025 and I actually ran into this on Sephirot, 21 FC HOUSES OUT OF 30 in first Goblet FC ward are taken up with one tag by someone with different variations of the same name. Anyone wanting a FC house has been blocked because there are ZERO FC houses open to buy there now. What makes it worse is I've previously seen posts on other social media venue (former name rhymes with Litter) that are willing to give up FC plots on certain lotto dates if those wanting the spot pay a few million gold. Told them I reported them to litter's moderation staff (which is nihil now), they disappeared, but no doubt have cropped up with other user names elsewhere.

SE's handling of housing is still fail. Even with a lottery system, it seems people are still trying to find ways to circumvent it. Instanced housing would have done away with all of this mess, allowing everyone to have a personal or FC house but nooo, had to do Island Sanctuary instead. Sigh.
