I'm sure the 10 people on Dynamis will be very happy.
Lots of people here and there will be lots more soon. I suspect there will be a DC travel lockdown coming as well for at least the first couple weeks of the xpac if not more. The people who want houses can continue to try and buy them on over populated servers but that's not the plan as far as SE is concerned.
Great news! Hopefully people have prepared by collecting gil and leveling all the characters they plan to bid with. Now is a great chance to get a house on NA, assuming one is willing to transfer. The next opportunity will probably be in around 3 years when they make a new housing district. Dynamis could see the remaining wards opened before that if the servers keep growing, but... that also requires a transfer from older servers and there will be more bidders at that point. A totally empty server is the least competition there will ever be.
Private plots can be bid on straight away but fcs have to wait 30 days to enter the lottery. If anyone is making a solo fc, they should find someone who will agree to make level 1 throwaway alts to sign the fc petition as soon as the server opens.
Good luck getting your dream plots!
Remember to look at multiple plots before placing a bid, possibly even waiting until the morning of if you can to put your bid in at the place that you have the best chance to.
Wonder if they are going to unlock the wards that are already there for the other 4?
Literally the only chance of ever getting a large for the foreseeable future.
So 5400 new non-small houses are going to be available for private purchase next week(along with another 12.6k smalls that will join the MANY that have been available on dynamis for ages). Another 3200+ FC lots in that size range will go up for sale a week after DT releases(at least to the people who get their FCs together right away). The best and most popular lots will almost certainly be gone week one. My personal guess is that the larges wont last more then 3 cycles. So yes, as everyone has been saying "This is your best shot! Take it!" A pre-congratulations to the people who manage to get their dream house next week, along with the people who finally get the medium/large they always wanted even if it wasnt in the premier lot.
Wha... the 4 current Dynamis servers aren't even active enough to have queue times under 30 minutes and they're adding *more* servers?
Jesus, and I thought being on Maduin was suffering, whoever shows up on these new ones is asking to walk through hell, and for a house at best, lol.
What time of day are you playing that you're hitting 30 minute + queue times for anything other than Alliance Raid roulette? Granted I usually queue as healer or tank on my Marilith characters but I'm rarely waiting more than 10 minutes if I'm queuing solo. Most of the time it's only 5.Wha... the 4 current Dynamis servers aren't even active enough to have queue times under 30 minutes and they're adding *more* servers?

Also, learn to make friends with others in the data center or get your off data center friends to come to Dynamis instead of you going to them. It's easy to get instant or near instant queues regardless of data center when you play with friends.
