Pressing Seraphism could bring back HW/StB SCH and I would still complain that it's ugly and doesn't fit the job's aesthetic.
Just adding my voice against that. It is Ugly and Lore Inaccurate. There was so much to work with but they still "didn't know what to do with scholar".
I don't mind the concept of seraphism mechanically.
It may even result in Scholar finally having an identity in terms of player flow.
The visual, however, does not radiate "scholar" and shapeshifting in general is awful as a concept in a game that offers glamour.
I'd go back to the drawing board on the visual impact of Seraphism.
I personally would find it amusing every time I hit it if instead of transformation you were surrounded in the "math meme" cloud that we got to see in the latest Manderville installment.
Like many changes in Shadowbringer they just happend without backing of the Lore.
But while i like angelic stuff it always felt weird they doubled down on seraph in the expansion with a entire fairy region.
Oh yeah, that would be a much better effect to use for this.I don't mind the concept of seraphism mechanically.

I don't want to turn into an angel. I want to turn into a super scholar with even bigger hat and glasses. Is SE forcing us to use mods?
I just want to summon an army tonberries stampeding on the battlefield.
