I will never understand how they just let Warrior become a Tank/Healer/DPS all in one package. Warrior soloing Pandemonium 1 at launch was some of the funniest crap. I think they can carry dungeons if they wanted to as well.
War, pld and gnb did p1n solo, I think pld and maybe war did p2n solo too but it’s been a while.
Oh it's very possible now. WAR could do it out the gate. But it took 1 hour. And it was also because the fight had forgivable mechanics and the outgoing damage was very weak.
I expect 8.0 to be a bigger shake up on the jobs sort of how they shifted monk playstyle around between expansions shb>EW. Keep the flavour of the job but change up the gameplay. I look forward to it but that's miles away and for DT I look forward to the changes we are getting. Expansion soon guys! Hype!
Warrior's job identity has done somewhat right, but Warrior's role as tank has done terribly wrong which is Warrior literally a job that too angry to die due to having a boat load of self heals, fitting to the job identity, albeit at cost of importance of healer role
And then you have Dark Knight, a job whose job identity has done terribly wrong, but Dark Knight's role as tank has done somewhat right which is Dark Knight has some degree of sustain but not too much to totally dismiss healer role.
Pretty funny and ironic now that I think about it.
Yeah when I think “too angry to die” I definitely think of incredibly powerful AOE shields and 1 to 1 healing of party allies with no downsideWarrior's job identity has done somewhat right, but Warrior's role as tank has done terribly wrong which is Warrior literally a job that too angry to die due to having a boat load of self heals, fitting to the job identity, albeit at cost of importance of healer role

You're missing my point if your takeaway from that is that I want you to validate people.
You're free to express your own differing opinions but you can't really complain about me shutting them down as an individual. It's not my responsibility to give you validation when I feel you're posting invalid takes. There are plenty of other people who complain and echo your own takes. I'm not going to be one of them.
There's a difference between agreement/validation and acceptance/respect:
- Agreement/validation is, for example, giving your consent that a line of thinking is indeed a correct one. <--- This is not what I was suggesting.
- Acceptance/respect is looking at something for what it is and only for what it is, without adding any meaning, interpretations, commentaries, judgements, etc. <--- This is what I was suggesting.
It isn't validation to respect another's opinion even if you disagree with it. You can have healthy debates based around disagreeing with someone but still treat their own viewpoints with the same respect you'd want for your own. I promise, it is entirely possible to have discussions and debates without throwing around that people's thoughts have no basis in reality:

Yea the shield on Shake It Off and Nansent Flash's heal aren't entirely fitting for WAR, but generally the identity is less negating and more just regenerating faster than the boss can do damage.
And if they cared, they could make fights where that would be more useful than just negating one tank buster every few minutes.
