    What could they add? Utility. Little actions that can lead to a clutch save. Add half a cents worth of braincells being required in daily content, they could add midcore stuff that's actually worth doing as daily content. They could add proper relic/ultimate weapons that actually are significantly stronger than the other weapons like in literally every other final fantasy game. They could add a personality for wol, and a voice. They could add more choices for us that actually have an impact on the story , instead of being stuck in cutscenes that cant be skipped because we have to give an answer to a question, but both answers are 9/10 times the exact same response in different words, and the outcome doesn't change. I wanna be able to tell certain npc's to bugger off and do it themselves, and have that actually happen, instead of me being their errand slave while they scratch their head looking at the floor. They could add more engaging and interesting msq design , and quit with the forward and back/fetch quests. They could add better story format than having to campaign in every region, hearing everyone's problems, then fix all their problems, before they can do anything at all to help us go kill the bad guy who is about to end the world (which is significantly more important than their little sob story)

    Placing a lot of faith in this mythic encounter design over jobs not being braindead when we are yet to see encounter design change.

    SURELY in DT it will change right? inb4 go play ultimates.

    One simple thing that would go a long way is adding attacks that spend Job Gauge for Healers.
    No more overhealing with Solace to get to use Afflatus Misery.
    No more overhealing as a SGE to get MP to spam more Dosis.
    And make Energy Drain actually useful and not just a 100 potency attack.

    I do believe they have said they are looking into encounter design for DT, one thing that was mentioned was enemy hitbox sizes being too big, but who knows what else they have also looked at.

    No point speculating though. Just wait for release and provide feedback, for all the good it will do.

    ALLOT of the Jobs are in an identity Crisis for the past 1-2 expansions now, they are faaaaar from complette hell i think allot of them needs some outright rework to their kits.
    Seriously for example just Check what state DRK is in on the forums...it has a 400 page megathread for a reason lol and they are getting Shafted again.
    Or look at how the Jobs work at low levels most of them are utterly horrible to play at low levels and missing too much of theit kit for too long.

    Jobs are faaaaaaar from complete and most of them barelly getting any meaningfull changes.

    Limited and Exclusive content that gets removed from game is Wasted Content and Developer time in the long run.

    In theory yes. The issue that will come up with that lane however is that people who are less good at the game will be gatekept out by the massive increase in incoming damage that going harrowing hell at all levels would introduce. Whatever solution we look at should also apply to normal mode content, otherwise it's not really a solution at all. I'm fairly confident I could handle a massive increase in incoming damage in casual content. I'm also fairly confident that a lot of healers cant.

    We run into doability issues here. Making a more complex damage rotation for healers, one that recognizes that we spent most of our GCDs and time doing damage, carries 0 risk of failure for normal mode content. If your healer stands around not dealing damage that's not going to make you wipe since there are almost no enrages and 0 threatening enrages. Increasing incoming damage by a lot does carry that risk and the express intent for content like story trials, dungeons, normal mode raids is to be completeable for basically everyone.

    There is also a massive effort wall infront of the Harrowing Hell lane. What do you think is more doable with limited dev resources? Adjusting every single encounter in the game retroactively to fit the new target damage output or adjusting 4 jobs?

    I m somewhat conflicted about job update every expansion, if a job is fine the way it is in current expansion, do you wish the said class to be changed in next expansion? Or are you content with the said class stay the same in next expansion?

    Sometime, I can't help but wonder if CBU3 really change Job for the sake of changes.
