Oh good Grief, you guys argue with just about anything. It will be what it will be but I can tell you right now it WON'T be XV because for 1 they said they don;t want XIV to go down in flames.. Changing it to XV won't solve it.. and people will wonder what happen to XIV? :/.

I like the idea, and it's not complicated to automatically give players a title without doing a quest. Or simply adding a new NPC for it with a small piece of text (like the gobbue).

...or something else.

He went so far as saying pre-2.0 characters would undergo some kind of a physical change, and that just by looking at them you would be able to tell if they had been there during the events of Dalamud or not. Still no idea what it will be though.

He even said that some NPCs will address you differently depending on whether or not you were present during the catastrophic events.

Yes this is what I was referring too. Thank you for remembering the details because I totally couldn't. I even went looking for the source interview but I really can't be bothered to look for that long.
