If you missed out on Legacy status because you just joined the game, that's unfortunate, but could have been easily avoided.

Actually I took a break because of my computer and had no idea that they were doing the Legacy thing until it was over with, so if I knew beforehand I would've joined in a heartbeat.

I only thought of this because it isn't really fair to people like me (who have really sucky computers that crap out on you) that had no chance of joining Legacy have nothing to show they were here before everything changed around (minus the Onion helm but anyone can buy the CE so it's not really something unique).

I know they're two separate things. I didn't KNOW we could get something for finished the 7th Umbral Era quest line.

But you can get something to show for it.
The Goobbue mount is a pre 2.0 mount only, actually, once 1.23 hits you will no longer be able to get one, so if you have yet to pick up yours, better do so now.

I grinded for that, but I rarely use it now that I got my chocobo.
