What can you do with the app?

I haven't used the FFXIV app but was wondering, what exactly can you do with it? I know there's a paid version and a free one. It looks like you can manage your inventory and possibly put stuff on the MB? If you set an event with friends, does it notify you on your phone? Is there any benefit to upgrading from free to paid?

"We want bunny suits for guys!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Ishgard housing!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
    "We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
"We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - HAHA no that's sacred.

There is a free version and a paid version of the app.

    For the free version:

You can check inventories of your retainers and yourself (as long as your character is logged out in your homeworld).
You can move inventory between reatainers and player inventory (as long as your character is logged out in your homeworld).
You can sell items in inventories with retainers, this will cost you a "Moogle nut" to do, and you get one of these daily for logging into the app.
You can buy from the MarketBoard using the same currency as above PLUS the gil necessary for purchase.
You can enable the widget to check your Tomes of your character anytime.
There is probably a bit more, but that is mostly what I used it for.

    Paid Version:

You get 1 more retainer to use in FFXIV for subscribing.
You get the "right" chocobo saddlebag unlocked for use.
You get 2 Moogle nuts instead of one for logging in daily.

I think that is about it for the paid version, but again, this is just how I used the app.

    Hope this helps!
