    Fix the Payment Processor or Offer Free Subscription Services Until it's Fixed

    The new payment processor was implemented April 23rd. Those who pay with Visa have reported issues almost immediately thereafter. SE officially acknowledged the issue May 1st and stated they were working on resolving it. Now here we are, almost at the end of May, and we still haven't gotten an update and more and more players have been unable to log in or access any other services.

    I have FC members and friends who have not been able to log in, access their additional retainers, and some who are approaching their monthly sub renewal are starting to fear they'll be unable to access the game.

    They've switch out their credit cards, reviewed their billing info to make sure they were up to date, and have made efforts to even purchase Crysta via PayPal and are still getting the same error codes.

    Since there is no foreseeable resolution to this issue, SE needs start issuing free logins plus whatever additional services players already have tied onto their accounts. SE has already acknowledged that the issue is on their end and the players who have been paying prior to this transition shouldn't be forced to grin and bear it...

    I'm not sure if they tried Amazon pay but I'll recommend. After spending a few hours trying to remedy the situation to no avail the general consensus was that you shouldn't have to cycle though multiple payment methods in order to bypass a technical error on SE's end, especially if means utilizing a payment method you've never used to make purchases before.

    There's a maintenance notice on the JP Lodestone for players who use something that translates as "d payment".

    Some think it refers to debit card payments. Hopefully they're correct and we'll be seeing a fix for the debit card issue by the week's end.

    It's for D-barai which is the payment menthod for people using Docomo mobile network.

    Oh well, so much for that.

    Have to keep hoping that SE and their payment processor get this straightened out for those affected. Personally I use a credit card because consumer protections for credit card transactions in the US are significantly stronger than protections on debit card transactions but I know that they're not an option for everyone.

    This is taking way too long to be fixed. I hope SE is trying to find a competent payment processor to replace this one.

    I do remember some weeks ago getting something off of the mogstation and unable to pay by card, but circumvented that with steam payment.
