Having played with Olivia's call outs and then without, the difference is insane. We get so many people who get farmed and we get curb stomped, because they've given so much BH that it snowballs. It's insane.I'd rather they afk somewhere than mindlessly charge enemies and get farmed miles away from the rest of their team. 30 matches yesterday and the bottom 8 players accounted for 90% of the team's deaths in each of them.
My team would have won every single match if they those people had actually done nothing. They're actually causing me to adjust tactics because they are so uncarryable.
It's not just her call-outs, it's the efficiency of her premades. If you create a light party pre-queue, and actually ask for specific jobs from those experienced playing them, the result is a predictable massacre. Why anybody would want to play with such a baked in advantage I have no idea. Those on the other side of the battlefield certainly aren't enjoying it.
The last few days I've seen in chat more complaints, more snarky comments, more push-back against commanders. People are pissed off.

I mean, anyone else can make a premade too and start ordering people around if they want to. So I'd argue it's a bit more fair than that. Though that being said, as far as the comparison, some children could stomp some adults at baseball.
It wasn't this bad before, but eh what can you do when coordination amounts to press the limit break button at the same time as someone does salted earth?
I'm honestly surprised people are taking frontlines so seriously, it's always been the casual for fun mode.
That's a very interesting point. Maybe those that do take it so seriously could explain. I think what we're discovering is that min-maxing it just makes it miserable for those who would like it to be a for-fun mode.I mean, anyone else can make a premade too and start ordering people around if they want to. I personally have fun whenever I queue it for it solo.
I think it must matter more to people who attach fun to winning. I don't need to win to have fun.
I wish it were more about killing players though, since that's part of the fun of pvp for me.
But either way, it would seem to me the people who complain about premades are taking it just as seriously as the people who make premades, but just refuse to make them or can't make them.
The game itself could be more fun, but that has more to do with the jobs than the ability for people to play together to me personally. You don't really need a premade to get massive kills with Drk + Drg + whatever other flavor you want. Just some awareness and someone who knows what to do.
I imagine it's to ensure they can get the achievements attached to winning, in a reasonable timeframe?
