Remove moggle tome events from frontline

Or only give them to the winning team. For those of us who actually enjoy PvP, watching people who have zero clue what to do and just following the person in front of them is frustrating and annoying. Not sure how many matches I’ve seen in the past week where teams aren’t paying any attention to the score even with calls, just continuing to attack whatever opponent is in front of them. Either that or they’re the “I’m just here to get some tomes” people.

I'd be fine with removing them. The situation is being compounded by several win-farming, noob-stomping, finger-lickin premades who at least seem to be enjoying themselves. It's the chronic AFKing that is getting to me though. I can excuse cluelessness, at least to some extent, if the player is actually moving.

I'd rather they afk somewhere than mindlessly charge enemies and get farmed miles away from the rest of their team. 30 matches yesterday and the bottom 8 players accounted for 90% of the team's deaths in each of them.
My team would have won every single match if they those people had actually done nothing. They're actually causing me to adjust tactics because they are so uncarryable.

I suspect the event attracts more players who have no interest in taking orders. They would rather make their own decisions.

I think it might be useful to ask why they don't care. I find it pretty hard to believe they're going to bang on ~30 matches to get a shitty carbuncle earring.

If they're in it for tomes, then it should make sense to choose the option that increases their chances of winning, but that can be hard to understand.

I didn't suggest they follow me though, just stop doing anything at all and they've added 80+ points of value to the team.

Did you actually make that suggestion in chat? That would be pretty funny. "Don't do anything!!! <se.4><se.4><se.4>"

There's definitely been some very peculiar play. I wonder if there are tome-farming Discords where the old lags tell the sprouts that the correct strat is to suicide into the leading team since that gives the highest number of tomes/hour? Bots maybe? I saw a Dancer miles away from their deathball running into the outside wall of cave earlier today. Peddling on the spot. Strange. Since I was passing I helped put them out of their misery.

Last week my 20 mogtome challenge was to do the PvP "Hidden Gorge". During peak hours on Saturday I queued for a half hour, and at that point there was still an estimate of "More than 30 minutes". I realized there was no guarantee that it would ever pop and that I was wasting my day waiting, so I turned it off.

All of which is to say, I wholeheartedly support removing PvP from mogtomes.
