    Frame Rate and Audio Stutter During Post Endwalker Battle Content

    I've encountered this problem during Thaleia and Mount Rokkon, when entering the Thaliak fight, or while fighting the final boss of Rokkon's left route. It's most prevalent during moments of significant particle effects or attacks, such as Thaliak casting a large wave directly at the camera or player POV.

    The frame rate drops to below ten frames, and the audio breaks and stutters. I usually get 60 fps in common content, and use the Standard (Laptop) settings. Party effects are disabled for everyone but myself. I've only been encountered during those two fight, but I have had to leave due to the audio and framerate being difficult to listen to and follow the mechanics.

    I've tried switching off of borderless windowed mode, as well as decreasing the FPS cap, and have updated my graphics drivers.

    Here's my specs:
    CPU Brand: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics
    DirectX Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
    Windows 11 (64 bit)

    What Platform are you using? (Steam/Windows/Mac/PS4 etc.)
    How often does the issue occur?

    Could you provide the exact error message received (if applicable)?
    Are you running any additional programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?
    Does this occur on more than one character?
    When the issue happens, is the PC over heating at all?
    Were any update or changes made to the PC around the time of the issue?

    Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.

    I'm using Windows
    The issue happens during battle content fairly consistently in the content mentioned previously, but not anywhere else to my knowledge.
    I run discord on the side to talk with my friends, but nothing else usually.
    So far, i've only gotten to the content causing the problem with one character, so i'm not sure.
    My laptop does have a problem with the battery, but I have been able to play FFXIV (and thaleia, oddly enough) with no trouble before this started happening.
    I updated to windows 11 sometime before encountering the issue, so that might have something to do with it, but none of my other games (even particularly graphically intensive ones) have had this problem occur.

    Should I copy the whole notepad for the system report? it seems like a lot to sift through, so if you could tell me what to grab specifically, and how should I get it to you?

    Yes, Please provide the full system report here. There are no personal data in the report, except the system's user name.

    Maybe the fight uses graphical effects that your GPU does not really like.

    Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Please try the following:
    - Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable). After reviewing the provided system report, it appears that your GPU [NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti] was last updated on [4/10/2024]. At this time, there should be a newer version available.

    - Please try lowering the resolution.
    - Please try running the game as an administrator.
    - Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.

    - Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup. It appears that you may be running [#general | *ALL THE CAMPAIGNS* - Discord] and [NVIDIA GeForce Overlay] in the background. As previously mentioned, programs that use overlays may interfere with the game.

    - Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated. If you noticed that the issue began after updating the Windows OS, you may want to consider trying to rollback the update instead.
    - Reinstall game
