I've gotten 4 Adeniums from picking up the lootbox from the get go lol.

Idk what was going on in their head when they decided it can drop from the lootbox as well.

Lucky! I decided to go the loot box route, thinking surely my rng couldn’t be that horrible! But yes, yes it is… still haven’t gotten the Adenium and only saw 3 Peerifools. It’s selling for 5-6 mil on my DC, so I’m still waiting for a lucky loot box.

That's not as bad as the "reward" for reaching max island level. Four freaking cheese. And it didn't even unlock anything new in either of the currency stores.

It would have been a perfect opportunity to throw in the recurring NPC outfit that seems to get used for a few sailor NPCs around Sharlayan Harbour. There's clearly some demand for it among fans.

I bare minimum my island and I am only realizing just now the buildings can be rank 5.

Oh well. Evidently I didn't miss much despite being rank 20 for ages.

Like OP I've been trying to get it collecting the vouchers; really goes to show how hollow island sanctuary really is, either you gamble or wait 29 weeks.

Does the mount at least have particle effects?

Particle effects XD, too precious. Though I just saw your join date so it all makes sense now. Welcome to FF XIV. This is the point where all the white knights come out and say this game is perfect and if you don't like it don't play it.

when yoshi says they will add more "content" for IS in DT, I suspect they will just throw in a "here, collect 500 vouchers for a mount, there is your content"

It's far more pretty than the others, and has flower particle effects when you fly.
And they've already given us two tractor-bikes, a croc and a buffalo mount.
Hum, though maybe a island style Mikoshi, carried by mammots instead of Namazu...

A mikoshi like the Namazu but with the Felicitous Furball sitting inside of it, because you KNOW he's not going to be carrying YOU.

I kind of liked that for the story connection. Jullus and his friends giving us a reward that was within their means. That meant more to me than some new shiny for my mount or minion collection.

To the OP, IS gave us a lot of nice mounts. This isn't my thing so I didn't go for it. But there are some who do like this so I'm happy for them. I have mounts in the game I love that others don't care for, too.
