Reaper Unveiled Gibbet and Gallows: what's the point?

Decided to give RPR a go other than just passively leveling it with Wondrous Tails turn-ins... and something caught my attention.

I'm missing something, or what exactly is the point of the Unveiled actions? Not talking about the regular/enhanced Gibbets and Gallows, but the two actions that Bloodstalk turns into.

Reading the tooltips, Bloodstalk and its Unveiled transforms are identical. Is just for the sake of the different animations or?

I'm pretty sure the animations are all identical. It's just another indicator for whether you will do gibbet or gallows should you spend the gauge.

They're buffs basically boosting the atk of the next galliws/gibbet
