I can see why they are sticking with the OG primals, now that we no longer have job quests that could establish how you suddenly gain the ability to summon 3 extra ones. Also, we're kind of out of good options for more.
Ramuh makes sense, but that's kind of where it ends. IMO Leviathan is FAR too strong to serve as one of the basic summons, and Shiva is not a "normal" primal. Might as well suggest Tsukuyomi or Thordan.
Odin could work, but A) he isn't elemental and B) wasn't there some ambiguity about whether Odin is a primal at all?
I'm betting we're stuck with the 2.0 trio
Not that it matters IMO. The problem SMN has post-rework has nothing to do with the number of primals you summon, but with how barebones the rotation is.
