I really loved SB and HW AST very very much, the cards offered utility and the RNG is what made the job fun: Dealing with the cards you had, and deciding what to do with it. Draw a Bold? Royal Road it and use that effect to enhance the next card you draw! It was my favorite job I truly love and enjoyed, and I will forever be salty that XIV destroyed and burned the job I loved to the ground.

All of the card in ShB and EW was boring, all DPS card and for what? an increase 2% DPS that you can't even tell? removing the other Sect is what also made the job unique and stuck with its lore

A great way to not get me to play the "rework", adding even more play card buttons to my hotbar.

Though I'm sure we could easily leave play Arrow/Bole Spire/Ewer off of our hotbar since they're be worthless in about 99% of the content in this game.

I don't think I've ever seen a more incompetent group of developers in my 25 years of playing MMOs.

Sorry! I swear my point was purely about the RNG of the class, and FSH is one of the other few jobs I know well that actually is connected to randomness. Come to think of it, RNG has been purely relegated to the Gold Saucer, Roulettes and Big Fishing now, and my Gambler title is crying.

I can understand players' desire for consistency, especially in harder content. But for every class to have a gauge, or procs, or stamps? I don't know. Having a class be about thinking on the spot, and succeeding despite unfavorable odds, is more appealing to me than what we seem to be getting (which has been compared to Aetherflow).
