I've played on console since ARR launch in 2013 and I do just damn fine and have never had issues or complaints. This game is very much designed for console and PC equally and PC players who take issues with console folks are just elitists.

It is absolutely NOT a detriment to play with controller and without add ons and anyone who says otherwise is insane.

I play PC like I still play on console. Same UI, cross hotbar layouts, on a TV, not monitor, with a wireless controller, sitting comfortably in my chair with an ottoman.

Practically speaking, during the fight, and if they're the same skill level, there is zero to very little difference in a PC players performance to a console players performance because using a controller is that good.

Will console player's not have access to mods/add one? Yes, but they aren't necessary and aren't even allowed, the only EX content I ever did synched, Varis EX, I did with no add ons and playing like I always do. Mods are all garbage NSFW crap too, minus the Viera and Hrothgar hats one.

I will talk crap about the job design choices the devs make but I will praise the console controls til the day I die. It is AMAZING. So don't let anyone talk you down for playing on console.

The only issue with console is that it can be argued it holds PC back graphically, but given that MMO's want mass appeal, giving the game amazing graphics wouldn't be in the devs best interest anyway.

Neither ACT nor auto markers (as contentious as they are) exclude console players since you only need 1 person in the group using those.

By definition if a group of all console players got together they would be at a disadvantage when raiding, this is not fair to them or the game.

Not every anti cheat implementation preforms like capcom adding Denuvo in their games. Most don't impact performance much at all if any. Unless of course Dota2, OW2, RSS, LoL/Val all run really poorly and everyone on youtube is making fake videos about how many frames they are getting. As well as some addons have over 4.4 million downloads, seeing as how the player base that completes savage is around 20% (only source i could find was this but It falls in line with a lot of other things from wow from the past I have little reason to believe they were lying. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EQhnJYXX...name=4096x4096 . Probably cut that in half or more for ult clears.

Read my above statement regarding just how many people have downloaded some addons, unless of course you think millions of people is a small subset of the player base. Ohh and those are the ones that are tracked but explaining further might get you confused so I'll just end it here.

console player here, pentalegend, epic hero and week 1 p4s/p8s/p12s

I dont see how not having ACT/Calls/AM excludes you from high end content, I only raid with static but in pf there is only one guy that needs to have AM for it to work ?
Also, if a static exclude you because you're a console payer, they are just bad (especially if they cant play without third party tools)

I know some world prog raider, and they dont discard an apply because he is on console

I've never seen a static that requires you to be on pc/ask if you're on console, even HC/week1/logs static

those types of players are not "elitists" they are just dumb bad raider
