I think you are just downplaying what you actually said.

I have not seen a GM a single time in this game. Ever. It's likely they reported you for your word choice, not why.

Again, one of the good things about this game is that SE doesn't let it turn into a toxic cess-pool so that new players are welcome. Remember why we're not allowed to skip the MSQ cutscenes? Around late HW/early Stormblood MSQ dungeons was a one hour commitment with a 500 tomes reward. They cut both in half, and also removed half of the ground you had to cover during it. But I remember when people would rudely spam comments to skip the cutscenes to new players so new players were told over and over again to not enjoy the game, to skip the cutscenes, to spoil their experience by watching tutorials, to do things perfectly out the gate or get kicked. That was ARR and HW. That had to change.

People still send messages over cutscenes and it's annoying, but at least we no longer have dungeons in newer content that spend 10 minutes in cutscenes at the beginning.

Why do people think they are entitled to being rude, if someone has a really short fuse, they should not be the one to explain the game mechanic.
