I really do not see a big difference between the two aside of the chest piece, gloves head and boots are exactly the same. So im Guessing your complain is pants do not have that little thigh gap? because aside of the chest and colour is the only difference

After looking at the male one for a bit there might be a gap on the male leg in the same area that the female version has. Just the fabric that hangs down from the top is covering those areas on the male outfit due to the pose the model is in. On top of them not being transparent.

Agreed, I feel like the male DNC artifact gear is pretty terrible this time around...I'm not into the vest and long pants look.

the problem with it is perfectly encapsulated in the example. the female attire has more details and colours (im an artist myself and the male 1 looks rushed like a bad ali express cosplay) the last 2 dancer outfits TRIED to be similar. and it was ok enough.

Though I don’t mind it, your points are solid. Hope they reconsider their design and put more effort in male counterpart.
