Honestly, for a game with such a heavy focus on its lore that it's managed to publish 3 enormous encyclopedias, the lack of focus on any Job explanation anymore is felt more and more ever since they got the shaft for "Role" focuses. It's really disappointing to constantly now just guess how we've come across skills.

And yes, I know there've been comments made that "Oh, the WoL has surpassed anyone who could teach them anything" and "Oh, the WoL is just forging their own path now" but even then, it doesn't explain half the things that turn up. Even if we *are* developing things on our own, why can't that be the focus of a quest line anyway? I would much rather have less terrible side quests in a zone and have focus redirected to Job Quests properly again, if we absolutely have to give up anything.

The Job Trailer this morning alone just made it clear how much stuff comes out of nowhere with 0 explanation. What on earth is Seraphism? Where the heck did Solar Bahamut come from? The masses deserve to know! Please!
