Dear FFXIV Devs: Please Stop Butchering AST

Day one AST main here… I’ve seen many, many AST changes. Some good, a lot bad…

but this is the last straw. What are you even doing? Our job’s identity has been slowly stripped away each expansion (cards were simplified, sects were removed, every one of our time-related abilities were removed), but now you’re taking away the rng from our cards entirely.

At this point, it feels like they just want to remove the job from the game. And with how much the job’s identity has been massacred at point? It would be like nothing’s changed at all if it were gone.

Super disappointing direction that I wish (because I have no hope) will be fixed in the future.

@HikariKurosawa any thoughts on this? I thought job homogenization was made up. Yet we are seeing multiple threads about it now. Any thoughts on the non-standard rotation of BLM being eliminated in favor of a stricter and more simple rotation?
