I think it would be fun to have a real boss fight with each of the GC Leaders

Just saw someone referencing "Raubaun savage" today, which is obviously all good fun... but you know, wouldn't it be kind of cool is there actually *was* a savage fight against each of the FC leaders?

They haven't been super relevant to the story in a long time, and it doesn't have to be some super meaningful conflict or anything. Maybe just some sort of a private challenge between friends, where they each agree to go all-out?

I mean, you *could* involve it in the story if you wanted. Not seeing any conflict that's just waiting to be setup or anything, but it could make for kind of an interesting story beat if maybe they were "possessed" in some capacity.

Or hey, maybe it's just the Wandering Minstrel wants to tell a tale like "what if the Warrior of Light and their allies had actually been turned evil?". Could actually be cool to envision as a fight against all three FC leaders, maybe at the Battle of Carteneau or something like that? Zenos obviously snatched our body that one time, it could explore what he hoped to accomplish.

I would love that. I'd be eager to see Merwlyb and Kan-E-Senna shine in particular. The former because we had some cool scenes with her in 1.0 but they didn't carry over iirc and the latter because I'm not sure if we have ever seen her in action at all.

We fight alongside Kan-E Senna in the Ghimlyt Dark and during the Endwalker Tank role quest.

She's basically a White Mage with Collective Unconsciousness.

And Merlwyb helps us in one of the Shadowbringers patches, the one where you cure the Kobald chief of his tempering. I *think* she helps in one of the EW role quests as well, but I don't remember for sure.

Ah I haven't done the role quest and Ghimlyt Dark slipped my mind but I don't think we ever had a designated fighting cutscene with her?

Yeah I remember Merwlyb helping us. Personally though when they are NPCs in the background it does not feel quite as impressive to me (but that's a personal thing).
Merlwyb used to have a small fightscene in 1.0.

It's nothing big but imo it would be interesting to have something that's centered around the GC leaders fighting (which would necessarily also include some proper staging) and an epic boss fight sounds like a fun way to do that (the battle with Raubahn was already pretty cool but of course a real fight like OP suggests would be even more exciting).

I thought Merlwyb was pretty impressive with her big gun attacks. Kan-E was as dull as ever, though.

It would be cool. I remember going to undercity to kill sylvanas back then in warcraft. Fighting faction leaders was a fun memory

the Kan-E-Senna fight would be an unskippable cut-scene where she reads the entirety of Sarah Plain and Tall as slowly as possible, then when the scene ends she trips and K.O.s her self and the fight ends..
