Dawn could shape up to be the ff14 version of shadowlands but that’s okay lemme explain.

We’ve needed a wake up call in the community for awhile now. The worse this expansion is means that our future could look so much brighter.

If anything, Endwalker has been the Shadowlands equivalent in FFXIV but honestly, I feel most people that hated on Shadowlands blocked the travesty that was Warlords of Draenor from their minds. I've yet to see anything that would indicate Dawntrail is going to be worse than Endwalker, and I haven't seen any shortage of criticism from the community about how this expansion has been.

You know I will, but I’m at work right now, and it’s going to be a long one. One of the biggest problems at this time is communication. It’s often a one way street, but I’ll have to go into that later.

The problem is many of these lessons that they've needed to learn have been on the horizon for a near good 2-3 expansions, so how long is a sufficient enough time for them to learn 2 years, 3? 5? Because you're getting to a point where it isn't a learning issue, but a fundamental disagreement with longstanding players and the developers as to what some of the core philosophies of the game should be.

No amount of learning will overcome exaggerative choices. They wanted to make the game simpler, this was accomplished 6-7 years ago. They want to streamline the game, that's fine, but there's also a point where streamlining is streamlining but just lobotomizing expression for some players.

As of right now, I have only what I see on the forums to go on. I couldn't watch the entirety of the live letter because it started at 4 am, when I should've been in bed asleep already. That's for job actions, though. I still have yet to see anything I think needs to improved upon, but I will say I'd like to see some QoL changes to some of the more minor things. A "repair all" button for equipment would be awesome. I don't just mean for everything you're wearing, I mean everything on your person, in your armory, in your inventory--everything. That's been something I've wished for since the beginning.

They'll hold you to that, Just cause people expect one person to show proof.

It's better off for the otherside to provide it as well.

I mean I feel you and I do have some, but I want it to be well written, which usually I’ll be honest I don’t do because of lack of effort. Also I’m limited by phone battery which is unfortunately dropping fast.
