After reading Japanese forum it looks like they don't like the transformation ether. Sure, glad I don't play Scholar because I sure don't want to transform into an angel.

If sch has to gave a form, kinda want it with fairy wings instead... but if we are going the seraph route shouldnt it have least 2 pairs of feathery wings instead of the 1?...
Can't have your dots, can't have selene, (almost) can't have energy drain and now we can't even have your own glam.
Trying really hard to apply Occam's razor but at this point im genuinely considering if one of the devs just hate SCH.
I know it's a meme that all healers are homogenized and play the same, but the design being more angel-like than fairy-like really gives me the impression that whoever is designing SCH wants to design the job like WHM...
I like Seraphism as a skill concept, but I don't get why SCH got more of a WHM-theme than a SCH theme. Especially with the robes. They look like priest robes, which is more synonymous with WHM than SCH. Is SCH really designed to be like WHM?

To paraphrase Yoshi-P from EW release "We didn't really know what to do with Scholar...."

To add my 2 cents, I don't want SCH to look like a nun with chicken wings, please add an option to disable that transform.
I would just add that it would be a good idea to add that option to any transform ability, it can't be that difficult.

This is really a terrible left turn for SCH. Seraph was totally fine as "the next level summon" after fairies, but it should never have been interpreted as a central feature of an academic/tactician summoner job.
As far as I am concerned, Seraph should have been just an intermediate step in Scholar's progression. Scholar should have progressed past Seraph to Alexander/Eden summons/abilities. THAT feels techy/academic. THAT feels strategic. THAT feels like a counterpoint to SMN.
This...this is embarrassingly stupid and off-brand. They need to take it all away and fire whoever let this happen.
