It's probably too late to redesign this, but it makes me sad. What a wasted opportunity.
It would have been so much fun to turn into something like Statice or Titania, and instead I'm about to morph into something that looks like belongs in the Sistine Chapel more than it does in FFXIV.

Temperance's animation already makes me think "angel".

It's the new SCH thing needs to be more obviously fairy-butterfly-pixie inspired. (Feo Ul exists. Just sayin'.)

when I think angel wings, I think actual wings, like white and feathery, none of which Temperance have. It also uses blue, green,purple rainbowy colours, which goes better with the fairy aesthetic.

Temperance also gives me more of a butterfly vibe, which again is more of a fairy thing

I will not wear the maid outfit no matter how much YoshiP thinks its fitting. I'm already tired of every single new piece of healer equipment being a white gown, I don't want it to be turned into an actual ability.

SCH's had Angel's feather Limit break ever since 3.0 The Seraph you summon when you use "Summon Seraph" is the same model that appears in the LB3 ever since Heavensward.

That being said, Seraphim is stupid and I hate it.

It feels like White Mage and Scholar are getting their wires crossed. SHB White Mage gets light wings that look fairy like while DT Scholar gets an angel like transformation.

It’s so weird because they nail SCH’s artifact gear every time

Like EW artifact gear was basically like “f…… every other class SCH gets their own field commanders coat” which was perfect for their theme and the DT one looks basically as good

Why can they not seem to figure out that that doesn’t match with church angel motif, like all they had to do was just make it a skill that like bought up a whole bunch of maps and tactics floating around you (sort of like a permanent VFX that looks like chain) and had the skill do the same thing and everyone would be praising it

I know Fae folk come in a lot of forms. But Scholar has been tied to the Fairy/Pixie type with a military tactician theme. So, giving them bird like Fae wings along with a white robe just screams Angel way too much that it would be more fitting to be an upgrade to White mage's Temperance than a scholar skill.

Normally You could say just give them a transformation that makes them look more like Titania with pixie wings and a flowery dress. BUT I have a better idea.

Give them Aenc Thon's suit (Dohn Mheg final boss.) with a pair of wings like Statice (The fairy with a gun.) has and boom you got an Oberon like look that kind of has both that Fae and Military feel going for it.

I mean the last skill Scholar got was expedient and that effect spawned butterflies. So why give scholar Fae bird wings suddenly? Are we going to get more Fae bird effects in the future?
