It was pretty interesting to see, looked like a job where you have a few buttons, those buttons give buffs which allow you to use abilities (100% proc style stuff) and then you can branch from there based on which buffs you've gotten.
Didn't seem to me that there was a "123" style combo all combo attacks came from buffs.

The ranged attack combo yoshida used seemed pretty strong, there's also another ranged attack that he didn't use but was shown in the job action trailer, I assume that's the spammable GCD one.

I loved the speed and I personally don't see any missing identity, playstyle wise it gives me big dual wield jobs from other games vibes. I also loved that switching swords was just part of the main combo and didn't turn it into a slower job like a lot were expecting.

They seem to have moved all of the buffs to this one job lol, which is pretty interesting and should at least give us somewhere to look at. The sword gauge seemed pretty cool, I expect it'll be similar to reaper in some ways but with much more interesting GCD's to hit between awaken phases. Which I'm super happy about, Reaper was almost perfect for me, but it didn't use a sword, didn't have a speed buff and was slow outside of shroud, and finally there was too many casts.

Also I gotta say, I am absolutely ecstatic that viper has no casts. It's been so long since a melee was released that didn't have to stand still ! T_T
