    I really do feel like you'll see a divide in casual vs savage players on that issue, though maybe I'm wrong. From a strictly selfish perspective I like the rez. It's less homogeneous, it's support, and since I'm casual only I save a ton of party wipes overall. It has a place. If you play a ton of of casual content, you'll see it time and time again. As far as savage goes though, outside of prog I can see why people would rather lose rez and gain dps. I really do sympathize. Dropping the rez may be an acceptable trade off if they can give us something good in return.

    May as well turn arcanist into a healing class if you're getting rid of res for SMN.

    Definitely will be a headache having to start over if for some reason the healer goes down. Like seriously...people love to rush dungeons when doing roulettes. I shouldn't have to be punished because of tanks overpulling and then dying because the healer and tank couldn't get on equal footing.

    It may be a great change for those that are doing savage content, but with normal content it's going to be annoying. Healers down and you don't have another resser in party? Oh well! Try again.

    If res is going to be taken either buff the shield ability of buff physics that currently only heals 900 at max level.

I know a lot of SMNs who seemingly don't want to raise (which is aggravating to me, honestly), but especially at low levels with new healers who may take a bad hit or get doomed (Qarn anyone), having a SMN who can raise at lower levels can absolutely make or break the run. It also feels really good to be able to recover from a mistake or bad lag/other issues, and I think it really brings a party together when you can do that successfully.

    Taking away Resurrection from SMN (and I feel like they might be eying Verraise for RDM), would remove this potential entirely, and I think we would lose out if they did so.

    As a healer main, It upsets me that other than healers have a raise spell. Use the swifcast for DPS, we are already shadowed by almost immortal tanks to the point healing is being plain and boring. Let us suffer lmao. If healers die, and wipe, well... is part of the experience, the game is meant to be challenging, and if a healer is newbie and die, well, is our task as veteran players to cheer that person and point the way of improvement

    It’s quite practical in Alliance raids. Trials and normal raids too though those are shorter. Think I rezzed more than 10 times on the 2nd boss of Rabanastre a few days ago. The healers would die non stop and some others too. Without the rezzes I think that the group would have abandoned. Raid is already long enough and with 24 people it would create hostility towards the inexperienced healers . Where you use swiftcast doesn’t matter much unless doing savage and ultimate. I keep swiftcast for rezzes if I see that the healers are having a hard time.

    Having a backup ress is pretty good and takes away responsibility from the healer. If they take it away from SMN, the RDM will become very important for many casual groups. If they take it away from both it will mean, that everybody can die except the healer. Is healer dead, there is a high chance of a wipe.
