Let's not pretend anyone arguing "just wait and see until..." doesn't actually mean wait and see forever, for the next supposed to schrodinger fix that's always just behind the corner.

I'm glad the AoE Yukikaze in the Endwalker job action trailer got changed to a Fuga upgrade before we could be given the opportunity to see how it feels.

do you wanna tell me that Moon Keeper Fangs are more important than Good Job Design?.. now when I think about.. I mean Character Designs and Story Content carry the Game more than FFXIV's Gameplay.. the mutilation of ARR with the addition of trusts are a testiment of that^^
Same! When I saw that AoE Yukikaze in the Job Action Trailer, I was like:
"That doesn't make anysense since you only need 2 Sen for The AoE Iaijutsu and we already have 2 AoE Sen Enablers, why do we need a 3rd one !?"
Thankfully I was wrong about that.. but Tenka Goken should still be a Cone AoE^^

Making jobs easier to apparently support 'harder fights' doesn't make sense at all when fights get even easier every tier. Not to mention it ignores the glaring problem of 'a good chunk of content cannot be difficult at all bc this game is intended for people of all skill levels to clear'. So when you make jobs easy, and force people to do easy content for msq/tomes/etc, it makes the game very dull for them. At least with more complicated jobs, and easier endgame fights, you always had a way to engage yourself whether you preferred a more casual or hardcore playstyle. An easy job in an easy fight is boring. A 'hard' job in an easy fight will still clear it, but it will engage people who still like having to think while doing mindless content, instead of just tabbing out and pressing a rotation that could honestly just be put on one button at this point.

I dunno I guess it's subjective, to me fights get harder and harder every expansion. Not just ultimates.
Of course, if we're talking about casual content, that's probably the opposite...
Will never get tired of newer SAM players telling long time mains what they liked was actually bad, that isn't condescending at all. It feels like the spirit of J Allen Brack is in here right now with us.
Every skill is a means to an end in this game, if it isn't a defensive cooldown you are always hitting one skill to lead into another and Kaiten wasn't really special there. The design and flow of SAM was made with Kaiten in mind, otherwise without it the job is just level 56 SAM with a few oGCDs sprinkled in and spamming Shinten over and over with a gauge that's now fairly useless. The feel of SAM is dull now without it, that's really all there is to it.
Come now, the bottom-feeding lobotomites are probably regurgitating whatever youtuber they watch vomited. Do you really think these things are capable of coherent, original thought?
