So from what I got, DRK is still a worse WAR for 3 years but is promised it's own thing later ; maybe.



If they wanted the gap closer change to be better received, they could have just made DRK and GNB has freeform mobility dashes rather than a snap to boss lock-on like all of the tanks.
At least I would have preferred that, and a tank with a non-homogenized gapcloser could be pretty cool.

Upon rewatch there is one thing I'm excited about.
Every GCD after using Bloodwhetting doesnt play the generic heal effect like it currently does, nor does bloodwhetting have the visual nascent flash balls tied to the healing buff. This effect is still present on Souleater and other actions.
We may have actually seen a tank sustain nerf. Praying this is the case.

Damn I hope too, better defensive and less healing that's what tanking is about. At best PLD can heal that make sense as long as they keep it in a castUpon rewatch there is one thing I'm excited about.

I believe button consolidation is needed but only on buttons we don't use all the time and are more related to the role responsibilities, not buttons we use continuously for damage ZZZ...

To be fair you should never be pulling enemies with gap closers. I'm actually happy with this change and finally they removed dps from them. Took them long enough, been asking for this for years.
And we didn't get anything new to fill the gap in our dps rotation.
What was so difficult about planning your gap closers?
All tanks can be played by lobotomites already. It's not hard.
