Hempen Breeches - Incorrect Order?

A little something that seems bizarre. Hempen breeches are lvl 4. Hempen breeches of crafting are level 3. Seems to be backwards. Can lead to some confusion during the tutorial quest when starting weaving.

Why would you consider that backwards? The crafter should have access to gear helpful in crafting an item first, not after the fact.

The main thing to remember is that there are many crafted items with very similar names. When crafting items for quests or leves, make certain the item name is an exact match to what the quest requests. It hurts when you make a Doman Iron Longsword and what you needed was a Doman Steel Longsword.

I guess I can see how that could seem odd. In some games "Death Pants of Stabbing" are an enhanced version of "Death Pants", so if you're used to games like that, it would seem odd that the "enhanced" version is a lower level item than the normal version.

But that's not how it works in FF14. In this game, "Hempen Breeches" and "Hempen Breeches of Crafting" are two entirely different and unrelated items.
