Yeah... this is Kinda not possible at the moment with characters being yeeted out of the game left right and centre.

Previous one was 20 mins long with the ocean fishing, this one, your talking about MULTIPLE HOURS of grinding just to loose all progress and have to start again from the beginning from a single DDOS DC. :/

It's a bit of an issue with ongoing DDoS, but then since the clear is only for floor 100, you won't need to start from complete scratch in the event of a wipe or global DC... It should just lock you from progressing 101+ as far as I recall.

I will say DDoS attacks aside though this is a good selection, as getting through from Floors 1-100 is a pain as a new player, and it'll give me a chance to work through my Kinna weapons for Dawntrail

I don't even run deep dungeons and I know this isn't true. You just lose whatever progress you were making in that block of 10 floors.

Half as many Standard Objectives compared to Part 1.
Can't do the current Weekly or Ultimog Challenges.
Was only able to do the Minimog one because it involved a Triple Triad NPC I actually had access to. (Ironically, I won't be getting any of the TT cards from the event because they're all story locked I guess?)

Same thing happened in Part 1 where the game kept "randomly" giving me Weekly/Minimog challenges that could only be done in Stormblood/Shadowbringers/Endwalker (when I had barely entered Heavensward).
My only saving grace is that I only need about half as many mogtomes for everything I want this time (441 versus 850+), and that with Make It Rain going on at the same time for part of it, I'm just going to go live out of the Gold Saucer for awhile, lol.

You restart from 50 iirc. Unless you're queueing for it, it's rare to see people queue for higher level floors. But who knows.

This is only true for floors 101+
Floor 51-100 work the same way as 1-50 with the caveats that you can start a new save at 51 and if you wipe you can't enter floor 101+ on that save. But if you were to wipe on floor 93, for example, you can try again from 91 if you're only trying to get to 100.
As for people not queuing for higher floors, I think the idea is that this will encourage them to.

Only if you're going for floor 101+, which doesn't effect this Ultimog challenge
Like I said, for everything 100 and below you can just start from that same block of ten floors

It says Floor 100, not 200. Takes probably an hour total.
