So the chat restriction did nothing to prevent this. If the purpose of the restriction is to disarm toxicity, and it can't even do that. Tell Me... what is the point of it anymore?

Players already freeze mid Match. I had 1 guy throw an entire natch because he got a no no marker (from throwing 2 other matches )
The point is to mitigate toxic behavior that would disrupt a fast paced, low player count match during said match, not remove it. The concept of a full-proof system that can completely remove toxicity from a PvP mode is fanciful nonsense. Salt lords will find a way to vent their frustrations and be toxic. With a quick chat "I was not fighting so I could type to my team" is no longer on the table as an excuse. It strips people who want to freeze and afk as a retaliation of plausible deniability.

As for people being toxic and abusive outside of a match, that's outside of the match it's irrelevant to this conversation. If you do as much PvP as you claim, you should know the drill. Report them through proper channels. Expecting an in instance feature to prevent actions outside itself and outside the game is ludicrous.
