DDOS: Refund time impacted attacks please

Many people in the English-speaking community don’t have an issue with what’s going on. One of the advertised benefits of Final Fantasy XIV is that it lets you play other games unlike WoW. So by going offline, the game is still giving you something by letting you play other games. Yoshi-sama cares about your personal health and wants you to touch grass. There’s been some complaints about not being able to complete raids, but you know this isn’t WoW, right? Yoshi-sama wants you to take a break and chill. That’s a good thing and that’s why so many players came to FFXIV during Shadowlands.

Speaking of which, being DDoSed is perfectly normal. Many websites and games have it way worse and they never get free game time, like WoW. So why should FFXIV be any different? At least it’s a quality experience. After all, Meteion is nothing like the Jailer. So I think we should all be grateful of Yoshi-sama and Square Enix delivering such an outstanding game, they’re trying their best!

Are we talking about the same WoW I’m thinking of? Holy hells, I played that game for 10 years, and there were numerous times when we received free game time due to the servers being unavailable for much longer than expected whatever the reason was for the outage.

Please tell us what you're going to do with that $1 refund. I'm sure you have something life changing in mind for it.

If you want compensation, get it from those who were attacking the servers. They are the ones responsible for the disconnects, not SE. They were the ones that wanted to keep you from playing the game.
