Please, please introduce Duty Support for Trials

I replayed the entire main story in prep for Dawntrail and am currently stuck in yet another queue for the last Endwalker Trial - have been for about half an hour and counting. I was stuck in queue for the last ShB Trial for over 2 hours.

Not only is this really frustrating, I'll argue that it also ruin the epic buildup to these fights.

So, please, add Duty Support for the Trials as well. It's long overdue and would make playing through the story so much more fun, especially for new players since the older Trials can take several hours to pop.

Trials like hades and the endsinger (SOS, void cast dais and zeromus also fall into this) arguably can’t be made with duty support because it’s azem’s power to summon adventurers to help them

It functionally canonises duty support

It’s why of the three MSQ trials in EW only haedalyn has duty support, because the scions were canonically there with the WOL

It would be nice, but they said it's very difficult to do it for 8-person content and might require compromising too much. They want you to fight these "epic bosses" the way you currently are. Nevertheless, they did try it out with one of the trials to see if they could manage it. There haven't been any plans revealed for this in 7.x at all, so we likely won't see it until 8.x or after, if at all.

So make the support npcs random adventurers. That's possibly the least plausible reason for duty support not being available for these duties. The more likely reason is that they probably have to script the NPC behaviors for each mechanic of each encounter. That's probably not trivial work (and not trivial to test either)

Because we don't want to wait 30+ minutes to progress the msq? Also the interaction with other players in Instances is "Hi thanks bye"

It’s the chicken and the egg

You certainly aren’t helping those queues by sitting in duty support

It’s the deepest depths of the content drought, you have to expect some level of queues especially during off peak

You know, this argument is SO outdated. The reason is that people who want to play with others is continuing to drop as time goes on. Game developers, including MMOs, have realized that with so many MMOs available, those who actually WANT TO play group content are spread very thin, and financially it's just not feasible to gear content towards them. This is why so many MMOs are changing/adding content to appeal to solo players- because it's the only way they can survive financially. Not all solo players are 'game hoppers', players like me want a game we can play for years, that constantly gets updated, new content added, but also has the interesting interactions that can occur when playing an MMO in the open world; you cannot get this from a single player game.

One of the main reasons I stepped away from FFXIV was because I got tired of being forced to group with others and waiting on long queues, when I simply wanted to enjoy the MSQ and other content on my own. I've recently returned because I've heard they now have all MSQ content available with Duty Support or Trusts, but now I'm hearing that forced Trials still require grouping. Not happy about that.

so ud rather play with ai that cant talk back than real people incase they dont ?
