Thread: Massive Geological Anomaly in Patch 1.23?

I think it will finally be the start of aetheryte nodes being chained so that they don't gravitate towards Dalamud. Though there also has to be a reason the Minstel dissapears so it's possible that Dalamud makes an impact where he would normally be. There may be some odd mystery to him like he'll appear in one of the final umbral related storyline spewing out poetry while the big baddy obtains his power, being nothing more than a prophet who wishes to see the prophecy come true.

He may also be found somewhere else where perhaps he'll offer a line of missions that reward the player with "legendary weapons" used to quell the "ultima weapons" aka weapons that have insanely beefed up stats when used against Ultima but pretty much useless in any other situation, and they'll look badass to lol.

For me FF is all about those legendary weapons which help you beat the final bosses in a sense, aka they are kinda designed to defeat the final boss so it would be a pretty badass reward to have these badass looking weapons being rewarded to players that are used to beat the final boss and they can only be obtained during this time period lol.

Hmm wouldn't that be scary.. now that I think about it, what if Dalamud "circular craters" are actually magical circles used to summon meteors, perhaps the impacts will happen earlier then we think because the big bad empire will be able to use the magic circles on Dalamud to summon meteors to create impacts on Eorzea. That would be an intersting sight I think lol.

What I would like to see (and I think what makes some sense) would be some minor geological anomalies (i.e. graphics) with 1.23, followed by more slight changes with a few lettered patches (1.23a/b/c), then simultaneously with live servers being shut down, some ability to see a cutscene (can be short) showing Dalamud seemingly destroying Eorzea.

I've been thinking about how they're going to present the actual event. Thus far all we know anything about is the before and after. It's probably what I'm looking forward to most in regards to this whole transition.
